This notice tells you what personal data Hefest handles when you visit the site or contact us, and what you can do about it. The short version: the site does not track you, and we only see what you send us by email.
Who is responsible
Hefest is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@hefest.studio.
What we do not collect
The site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
Our fonts, images and videos are served from our own site, so loading a page does not send your data to font or video services.
When you contact us
The contact form does not send anything to our servers. When you press send, it opens your own email app with your message filled in, and nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself.
When you email us, we receive what you choose to put in it: usually your name, your email address, your company, and the details and files of your project. We use this only to reply to you, to prepare a quote, and to run the project if we work together.
We keep these emails for as long as we need them for that conversation or project, and for any longer period that the law requires, for example for accounting records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Server logs
Like every website, the site runs on a hosting provider. When your browser asks for a page, the provider may briefly log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and they are not used to identify or track you.
Other sites
When you follow a link to another site, such as Fab for store products or X and the platforms where we post our work, that site's own privacy policy applies. This includes any purchase that you make on Fab.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can have the right to see the personal data that we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, and to get a copy of it. To use any of these rights, write to hello@hefest.studio. We reply within 30 days.
If you think we handled your data badly, please tell us first so that we can fix it. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the site handles data, for example if we add analytics, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Also read our terms of use.
